Chef Suvir Saran and Azalina Eusope Monday conference attendees were some of the first in the Bay Area to experience delicious tamales from Alicia's Tamales Los Mayas's new cart. The meal was sponsored by Metal Gourmet, a manufacturer of food carts and trailers for the mobile food industry, who also donated the cart for Alicia's business. Monday panels focused more specifically on street food culture: the food and the people that make it, policy and legislation, the economics of street food, and small business incubation.
